Jumble sales.
Jumble sales!
Well... The whole class of 6-ADV worked for a few long hours... The P4s, P5s and P6s were discouraging. They come to the craft stall, look, wince and walk swiftly away. I mean, yeah sure, you don't like you can always walk off, but you don't have to wince in front of us right?! Anyways, some girls like Deanna, Yun Ru and Charmian bought the swarovski keychains the moment I took them out, a good sign, I guess. I meant, the keychains are so awful. Then, the p4s came streaming in and some girls bought the bracelets and stuff. I did practically nothing, and with Alysia's talents of promoting the items, soon, the keychains and bookmarks were practically, nada. (no more) Even the lower primaries have no more... =D Then the business of the game stalls were booming, and ours is like, a while have many customers, the next moment, no more... I spent alot of coupons on the "Golf Mania" game stall and I wanted to try the soccer cans game badly, but I think my only chances are kicking the ball and hitting some poor and innocent passer-by so I decided to let go off the idea of playing... Plus, I suck at soccer, so... And at about 11+am, we packed up and went back to class, me carrying alot of stuff. Then it's Mdm sim's lesson. She was very kind, she let us go for recess and stuff. I learnt how to make a bracelet! Haha, then we go for the second round of selling, setting up the booths. I pack the glow-in-the-dark stars, 7 into each plastic packets. Rachel and I kind of packed too much... so in the end we had alot of packets left... sorry Jack.. we didn't mean to give you much trouble... At first the stars were very sellable, then after 10 minutes, nada again. So... leftovers we passed to Jack. Then Jack's business was becoming more and more popular, I gave my brother coupons to strictly spend at our stalls. He kinda suck, since he only hit 1 or 2 times when he was given 6 tries. He played golf too, same thing happens. Then he came back to ask me for more coupons, but I refused to give him because I am evil. Blah, blah, alot of things happen but I lazy to type... then Felicia and Wan Qi went to the lower primary classes to give the bookmarks to those who ordered them. Unfortunately, most did not have enough money so Felicia gave some away for free. Then Rachel and some of them went home, and Mrs Low told the remaining of us to count the total amount we collected and I think about $700 to $800. Although not alot, at least we helped charity right? Then we went home and all, but Nicole, Sonia and their friends stayed back to talk about some things. By the way, to Jack, I am really sorry for selling your stars and even packing too much stars that caused you to carry them. Sorry, really sorry... Well, that's all for now. Bye!
