Everyday Leadership workshop
I finally went to school after 3 long days of no-school-day. Although Friday was fun... but...
Yea, I miss the school, alot. I miss lessons too. But we had some leadership workshop today.
We only had lessons for PE and D&T as the workshop was from after recess to end of the day.
PE was totally fun today. Marlene and I had lots of 'mo qi' today when playing captain's ball.
It's like she throw to me, I throw to her, and... goal! Haha, I scored... I think 2 or 3 goals.
I dislike PE when we had to run, but Ms Toh let us play something fun to unwind us after MYE.
After today, PE will resume as... NAPHA training. Running, pull-ups, sit-ups, SBJ and et cetra.
I'm in white team and my team! We did not change into our uniform since we were sweaty.
Beatrice Wee was totally pro today, "Ah!" (High-pitched), get the ball and throw to goal!
She also blocked the opponenent from scoring as she is tall , so... blue team did not score alot.
Then, we went to the D&T room. So cooling! I love it, especially after PE, we sweat so much.
We went through our D&T MYE test paper today. I got 37/50. I.. made some careless mistakes.
Like... SCAMPER. The "A" I put some other words and not adapt. So I lose one mark there.
Then the sketching part, free hand drawing. I lose... 4 marks there. 2 marks for each question.
He say "Oh. Because you never draw properly. See? You sketch over here." When I ask him.
I was like thinking "But... they mentioned SKETCH. Using NO ruler..so.. what's up with that?"
But oh well. I don't think he understands english anyway. Other than that, the rest I don't know.
Yan Yi got the highest for D&T, she got 41/50. Sharmaine failed by just 2 marks... Haiz...
That Mr Tan very stingy... just randomly give her 2 more marks also cannot. Fail leh....
We left about.. 1h+ before recess. He told us to make key tags AGAIN. 2 key tags in 1 hour.
So.. this time we used acrylic [a type of plastic] instead of metal. Good thing, it's easier to cut.
We were suppose to make 2, one for ourselves to keep, and one for the school to sell in some fair.
I make my own key tag first. We were like snatching for the prettiest colour for the acrylic.
We were like.... aunties in a shopping centre, snatching to get the best goods or something...
I got black, white, transparent acrylic. I decided to make a piano. So.. threw the transparent one.
The key tag I made today turned out to be pretty nice. I love it sooo much! Black and white.
I wanted to make a viola, but.. it's pretty tough to draw out the shape so... yea. Piano is easier.
I use permanent marker to draw out the piano keys. I ruined it.. but still, I like it.
After I finished... I'm freaking evil. I anyhow make for the school key tag... Very ugly... Lols.
But no time what... can't blame me right? I skipped my recess to finish it. Just.. not enough time.
Sorry... I am trying to comfort myself. Not working, but oh well. Then... ran back to class.
The "professionals" came soon after, and... it was boring. Only the games were abit more fun.
First, we had this challenge to write "Nan Chiau High" on a paper without touching the marker.
Xin Yi told us to tie the strings to the marker and we moved the strings to write out the words.
The second challenge was to make a circle out of an A4 paper so that 20 people can stand in it.
Luckily, Shaw En watched on TV how to do it. But we did extra work since she folded wrongly.
But still, we completed the challenge. The other group did too. It was really fun, I think.
After that... all surveys, and forms and theories. I was bored to death there. I kept yawning...
Um, I think that's all. Until maths lesson at 1.30pm. Ms Ng came to class with... MYE papers.
I was like. OMG. She said, "There are no failures!" I was like, "Whoa... heng... phew."
Then, she gave out the papers. I got 65/100. I was so happy! I passed! I passed! I passed!
I'm happy although it's 65, cause I'm really bad in Algebra. Just.. thank god that I passed.
My brother is more dead though. He's only in P3, and he got.. 55/100 in Maths. He never study..
Before that, my NCSO seniors came to find us! So happy! We can go back in June for practise!
But the others weren't so happy. Too bad! I love NCSO! I think we should have more practises.
This shows that I'm totally dedicated to NCSO! Woots! Viola rocks forever! I love NCSO... <3.>
But, I saw that the last practise was June holiday was a departure party for the Secondary fours.
So sad.. I will miss my Cheryl senior.. she very nice lah.. I haven't return her the viola book yet.
I went home first without Sharmaine, cause I thought she went without telling me. Marlene too.
I didn't realized that they were in school making the key tag until I got home, eating lunch.
Suddenly, I was like 'SHIT!' to my mum. She said "Crazy ar?! Eat lunch shit shit shit for what?"
I told her that I forgot to see Mr Tan after school, sorry.... I will find him tomorrow morning...
That's all for now. I got to study the... spelling list. Confirm fail tomorrow, difficult to memorise..
Okay... bye people! So happy that tomorrow have NCSO practise! (I think) I LOVE NCSO!
I miss that NCSO room soooo much you know?! I MISS THE SMELL OF IT! MY VIOLA TOO!
