Project day
Today was pretty tiring, after arranging, we agreed to meet as usual at the same time and place, then I brought my laptop along to do the project. I alighted from the bus at the bus-stop opposite compass point, then I crossed the bridge and went inside, and I was at level 2, so I looked down at the main entrance of Long John Silver, but I didnt see Lippy and Claudia so I called Lippy, then she stood out from the shelter below level 2 and I saw her and Claudia, so I waved to them and we met at the escalator. We then went to Subway as Lippy was starving, and all three of us bought the same meal and same sandwich, and then while eating, Jia Wen arrived. She didn't eat as she already ate before she came, so we went to Popular after eating. Then after that, I dragged all of them to Mini-toons to have a look, and I bought a cute pink keychain for my handphone since my previous bunny keychain is very old and tattered, haha. We also went to Action City and browsed around and this group of girls told Lippy and Claudia to do some survey, lols, while Jia Wen bought me back to Mini-toons to buy chocolate, so nice to eat!
We bought a colourful Scrapbook for $3 in Popular and we headed towards the library and find a corner to sit down, then we on my laptop, and tried to use the library internet connection, but er... after about 15 minutes, we couldn't get a connection, so we left and went to macdonalds. Lippy was trying to connect to the internet, and me and Claudia felt bad that we didn't buy anything and took up space, so I bought vanilla milkshake while she bought milo mcflurry, and both of us treated Jia Wen and Lippy to the chocolate swirl ice-cream, they were like so touched, lols. We still couldn't connect to the internet, then Lippy suggested to go to the CC. I was like "HUH?? Should have gone there in the first place, lols." Then we went there, and we finally got an internet connection! Lippy was researching while the other 3 of us went to look around since it's our first time there. Then we saw the music sale in Yamaha music school on the 4th floor, so we told Lippy and there were saxophones, violin, viola, guitar, piano etcetra on the poster. Then after we did some research, we went upstairs to have a look before we went back to Compass Point.
We went straight to the library and borrowed a book on Peranekan Food Culture, and read through it before using the library computer. They then accompany me to the 'gamesdotcom' ganes shop and the computer games shop, cause I wanted to buy something I need to find out the price, haha! If Tuesday going compass point then I'm going to buy it. Then we went back to the CC and continued with the research and we typed information in the document so that I can bring home and print it out. Then all of us went to the magazine stall and bought snacks and drinks while completing the document. Lippy worked the hardest, lols, leader! We were also talking to some seniors and teachers while doing it, haha! Then we went back to Compass Point again, and we all agreed with Lippy to go to the arcade 'Timezone' to take Neoprints, haha! Then we went down excitedly and we paid $8 for the top-up, but in the end topped up $10 cause we could get extra $2 value. Then we had fun taking Neoprints, we were like "Faster faster! Change position! The machine taking already! Quick, no you move there!" Then after taking, we chose 4 best pictures and started to edit the pictures together, then Jia Wen and I messed up one of the photos, lols, but in the end, it turned out to be quite okay. Then we cut and divided the pictures among ourselves before we went to play basketball, cause we still had $4 left in the card.
After playing, we only had 17 tokens, so we decided to top up another $10 and we played all those ball games. Then we topped up another $5 and played bowling, basketball, and the throw-the-ball-into-the-hole game. I jump and jump until my legs were aching, and Jia Wen was like "This game is good! Can excercise and slim down and grow tall!" Then I was like "LOL! Then I must come everyday!" Then we got more pro in the end and managed to get 370 tokens in the end. Then we exchanged for some pencils, each of us get one, and we left 70 tokens. We decided to keep the rest of the tokens for next time, haha! Lippy went home before we went home, so after that, Claudia, Jia Wen and I went to the ticketbox office for me to top up my ez-link card. I took out my handphone to check if my parents called me, but I realized my new key-chain from mini-toons was gone... Then I panicked and we went back to Timezone to find it, but I couldn't find it, so I went back to Mini-toons to get another similar one, since I like it very much... It's a pink cute character with long eyelashes and angel wings, haha! Then I persuaded them to take bus '161' home with me, then I alighted before them and I went home.
I had loads of fun today, and I also had learnt alot about Peranakan culture, so fun! Haha, and the arcade part is very exciting, we were practically getting scratched by each other cause we were grabbing the balls without looking and aiming to shoot in. By the way, you all should eat subway meltz! It's very delicious, but my meal set cost $9.10, Lippy's meal and Claudia's meal cost $8.60... LOL, I think it's because our choice of cookies are different, haha! That's all for now, I'm so looking forward to string practise, but I won't want to stay back for the senior's full orchestra practise already. Bye!
