Puppy love

When I read this story called "To forget you" by Low Kay Hwa. This paragraph. This particular paragraph.

“Puppy love is just love… without emotions. Just like a crush, you know. Just a childhood thingy. Let it go, little Romeo.” “No. Mine is not puppy love.” “How do you know?” “Because I think of her everyday, I want to see her every single second, I want to make her smile every minute, I want to make her laugh every hour.” I said, and for the first time in my life, the sentence came through not directly from my head to my mouth: It went through a series of thoughts, and suddenly, I realized I was replying logically to a question, and the answer sent me to ecstasy.

Because it involves you, and anything that involves you is good.

It's not puppy love, this is one thing I'm sure of. Every smile, that twinkle in your eye. I try ways and methods, just once, just for one of your smile, one of your laugh, to make you happy. I may not think of you directly every second, but you're always at the back of my mind when I'm busy thinking. Everything seems to be related to you. Be it the classroom. Be it the place where you used it sit, be it the things you used to touch. To put it simply, when people say you are so gay, like a girl, or ugly, I just don't find you so bad. I just think you're the best of the best. Which explains the line "Because it involves you, and anything about you is good." Get me. Somehow I don't think I have the courage this girl have, in this story. But... it's almost the same, is it?
